Michele Urban

Michele Urban is a singer, songwriter and kindie-rock (family) performer, who entertains, educates, and celebrates kids, one song at a time! Michele’s music explores themes of kindness, friendship, inclusion and acceptance. Michele’s improvisational music style creates fun, inspiring moments where kids discover just how special they are! She engages her audience in singing along, dancing, playing rhythm instruments and community bonding. Parents, teachers and children immediately respond to her whimsical lyrics and creative original tunes. Her unique style of children’s music inspires delightful participation and movement from both adults and children, with high-energy tunes spanning genres from traditional folk, rock ‘n roll, to jazz.

Libraries

Michele Urban Music programs are unique family music experiences that bring out the inner child in everyone. michele is serious about silliness, and her improvisational style encourages kids of all
ages to have fun making music and playing together.

Preschool

My Music Room at School is an immersive, experiential music education program for preschools, which supports primary music development in children ages 3–6 years, through rhythm instrument play, singing, and movement. My Music Room at School classes follow the best- practices, whole-child, educational approach recommended for children through age 8.

K-2nd assemblies

ADD Groove to Grow is an interactive, school assembly and music program, for a K-2nd grade, where Music Meets Emotions! In this program, kids will experience the joy of music, singing, and movement while also exploring important Social Emotional Learning (SEL) themes. Michele’s whimsical songs about friendship, kindness, and inclusion, celebrate kids and their creativity.
